Wedding Wednesday: I'm a 2 Dress Bride!

I'm officially a 2 dress bride! I found this vintage dress on ebay and I couldn't be happier with it. I knew from the second I saw it that it was meant for me- it's girly, pouffy, fun, and sexy!

It needed a little TLC. The beads needed to be tightened, some needed to be replaced, and it needed to be cleaned up. I had the dress dry cleaned and it came out perfectly white, then I dropped it off with my seamstress and she fixed all of the beadwork for me.

I'm so excited to wear this dress! I may be more excited about this dress than I am about my actual wedding gown (that cost wayyyyy more). I haven't decided if I'm going to wear this to the reception or the after party. I want to get as much wear out of my gown as I can so I'll probably slip into this on later on in the night for dancing.

I definitely feel like this is a dress that you will either love or hate.
I happen to love it, do you?
Did you wear or are you planning on wearing a reception dress?

Juicy Couture Earrings=LOVE

I'm in love with these earrings. I swear I couldn't have designed a pair of earrings that are more "me" than these are. I'm a stud kind of girl; very rarely will you see my in dangly earrings or hoops but they are just perfect!

Wedding Update: My Blinged Out "I DO" Heels

My Something Blue

Paris Hilton Destiny Heels
Well it's all coming together. I went for my first dress fitting last week and I picked it up from the seamstress this afternoon. I only needed one fitting and it was perfect. I bought a fun vintage reception/after party dress a few weeks ago, picked it up from the cleaners today only to leave it with my seamstress for a few minor adjustments. I'll post pictures of it as soon as I get it back. There was something that clicked in my head today when I picked up my dress and suddenly it all feels real to me. I'm getting excited!!!
68 more days!

Hair Products I Love

Aveda Control Paste
Finishing paste with flax seed
I use this on my bangs and it works wonders. It's also great for taming flyaways. Sometimes I use it on the layers that fame my face too. It's a great prooduct for adding texture and dimension and it smells amazing.
Suave Professionals Dry Shampoo Spray
I bought this after Veronica's Blushing mentioned how much she liked it and I am so, so glad I did. I love the clean, fresh citrus smell of the spray and it leave my hair feeling smooth and "normal." Other dry shampoos that I've tried make my hair feel gummy, stiff, and sticky. I was using Batiste, which was o.k. but I like Suave a lot better. Suave is easier to blend. it smells better, and it's half the price of Batiste!

What dry shampoos are you loving?

Yesterday was Parade Day in Scranton, Pennsylvania. It's a huge parade (4th largest in the United States) and it's a ton of fun every year. We started drinking around 11:30 and finally finished up around 7:00. I usually take a ton of pictures but I forgot my camera this year -so disappointing! I wore Forever 21 dark skinny jeans, green rainboots, and a long sleeve green t-shirt. I was n't as excited about my outfit as I was about my nails. Aren't they fun?
