BUMPdate: 22 Weeks

Size of the baby?
The size of a spaghetti squash (8 inches, 1lb.)

Total Weight Gain/Loss?
16 pounds.

Maternity Clothes?
Still wearing leggings and my normal non-maternity clothes

Stretch marks?

None so far and I hope it stays that way.

Best Moments?

My husband felt our little girl kick the other night. It brought a tear to my eye and several tears to his eyes because he was laughing so hard- he expected a gentle tap but instead she seemed to be practicing her karate chop.

Movement?

Lots and lots of movement especially at night and early morning.

Food Cravings?

Chocolate.

Anything making you queasy or sick?

I know you're really not supposed to eat lunch meat because of the nitrates but my doctor said it was okay to eat in moderation and I really wanted a Spicy Italian from Subway, so I caved. I totally regret it because it gave me heartburn... all day long. No more Subway for me.

What I miss?

Sleeping on my stomach.

Nausea/Vomiting?
None.

Symptoms?
I'm feeling great these days.

Labor signs?
That's still a long ways away... or so I keep telling myself.

Gender?
Girl

Belly Button In or Out?

Still in.

Wedding rings On or Off?

Still on!

Sleep?

Still hate waking up to go to the bathroom but aside from that, I'm sleeping great.

What I'm looking forward to?

Leaving for our babymoon tonight!

I'll be gone all week but I have some really great guest posts lined up for you all!

  5. Looking gorgeous! Too funny about the karate baby kicks - I used to love playing music for my kiddies in my tummy (Johnny Cash for my son, Mariah Carey for my daughter) and now that they're 5, they can't get enough of "their" tummy songs - "did I really dance to that song in your tummy? I want to hear it again" LOL!

    Have a fun babymoon!
